About Brendon

Brendon O’Brien has been a poet and performer since 2008, performing as a Spoken Word artist with the Arts-in-Action WORDSMITHS Spoken Word Poetry Group as well as Bishop Anstey and Trinity College East JINGAY Poetry Group. He has acted in WORDSMITHS’ 2009 production “I’m Not Who You Think I Am”, and the Best Village Trophy Competition Folk Category 2010 winning production “RepatriHaiti”, and has directed the Trinidadian production of the ASHTAR Theatre play “The Gaza Monologues”. He is an amateur journalist, freelance blogger, still a Spoken Word poet and aspiring writer, actor, director or anything else artistic.
